Trevor Stevens // Owner – Trainer

Trevor was born in the month of July, in the year of 1984. He is the child of two parents, Dan and Carol, who raised him to know what it means to say, “Yes!” He loves animals, especially dogs and cats.

Trevor’s father and mother were both cheerleaders in high school, a path that he decided not to take. Instead, he played soccer, ran track and cross country during his high school tenure. Post high school, Trevor had the opportunity to play collegiate soccer at two different schools. He also had a brief stint on the University of Utah cycling team as well as competed in a handful of triathlons.

Trevor’s first official CrossFit WOD was on February 22, 2012, compliments to Zach Ludlow. In Trevor’s own words, “It CRUSHED me!” That moment Trevor decided that CrossFit brought something that many other workout programs didn’t have. He decided at that time that CrossFit would be his source for high intensity exercise.

He loves to talk so next time you come to WOD at GSL, say “Hi!”

Trevor hold his CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Certificate and also maintains an active Gold’s Gym membership.

Matt Whitehead // Trainer

Matt checked out CrossFit on a whim, after years of working out independently and just getting bored and frustrated with a lack of results. After his first trial workout, which left him sitting on a weight stack trying not to pass out, he was hooked. Since then he’s pushed himself harder than he ever though possible and is never bored with CrossFit.

“I love how much CrossFit benefits my life outside the gym. I’d never anticipated how much facing my fears, failing, trying again, pushing myself, and succeeding at the gym would help me do the same at work and at home. I’m physically, emotionally and mentally stronger because of CrossFit.”

Matt got his CrossFit Level 1 Training Certificate in October 2012 and loves to push other people and help them achieve their goals.

“With training, I’m always surprised by how proud I am when an athlete finally has that light bulb moment and can achieve that new movement or accomplishes a goal. It motivates me to keep moving and I love getting to cheer them on.”

Zach Ludlow // Owner – Trainer

Zach met Chelsea just over a two years ago at a local CrossFit gym where she was training. He knew of friends that transformed their lives due to CrossFit and told Chelsea that he wanted to do the same for himself. Thanks to her and the support of his friends he has done so. As a competitive athlete throughout high school, college, and beyond, Zach has found that there is no better fitness program than CrossFit to prepare you for any physical challenge.

Zach has attained his CrossFit Level 1 Certification and always looks forward to the next big push and personal record for himself and more importantly, the people who train with him. Zach is a positive encourager and motivator without accepting half-ass work performance. He believes in living life as it should be which includes not only superior work performance in the office and the home, but in the gym.

Chelsea Rupp // Owner – Head Trainer

Chelsea has been doing Crossfit for about 3 years. Prior to that she was a personal trainer and a bootcamp class instructor. In her life, she has always been involved in some sort of fitness. It wasn’t until she walked into Crossfit, that her life changed. “I have been addicted ever since. I received my Level 1 Crossfit Cert in August 2009 and have been training ever since. Crossfit has changed my life in many ways. I have became more confident in my body than ever before because I have seen it do things that I never thought possible. I am mentally and physically stronger than have ever been. Come join me in the insanity!”
